Emily is an assistant editor of Chemical Engineering Progress (CEP), where she is responsible for the Back to Basics section. Her articles are targeted toward young professionals and recent graduates, and cover a range of topics that include pump selection guidance to flammable materials risk-reduction strategies to intellectual property standards.

Noel Sutton

Noel Sutton obtained his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in 1979. He moved from Seattle to Grand Rapids, MI to begin his career with Amway Corp., overseeing a variety of capital installation projects in his role as a process design engineer. In 1984 he joined Helene Curtis, Inc. as a process development engineer.
