Max Wilson

Max Wilson received his PhD at Princeton University in Molecular Biology. There he developed synthetic systems and models of metabolic enzymes to understand how subcellular organization of enzymes can be used to program metabolic fluxes. He also developed high-throughput methods and computational approaches for identifying antibiotics with novel mechanisms of action. For his post doc Max worked with Jared Toettcher where he used optogenetic tools to probe how developmental signaling dynamics are processed by mammalian cells. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Quantitative...Read more

Olivier Pertz

My research focuses on the spatio-temporal signaling events that regulate Cell Morphogenesis and Fate Decisions. The main hypothesis relevant to our research is that these signaling events are highly dynamic, are precisely regulated in time and space, and can be highly heterogeneous within distinct cells of a population. An important current limitation in our field is that this spatio-temporal resolution of signaling is missed in classic biochemical methods that average populations of thousands of cells, or that rely on the analysis of static, steady states. To...Read more

Andrea Mazzocchi

Andrea Mazzocchi, PhD completed her PhD in biomedical engineering from Wake Forest School of Medicine and received her BS in Biomedical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. She has spent the past several years focused on cancer biology, tissue engineering, and biomaterials. Her research has focused on the intersection of these fields to generate a cancer precision medicine platform. Known Medicine marries this patient-specific wetlab approach with data science to generate biological, computational, and clinical insights to improve cancer patient lives.Read more

Learn why current regulatory frameworks are not well adapted to address emerging pollutants such as PFAS, and why creative and collaborative solutions are needed to maintain access to water supplies, facilitate the development of new supplies, and increase our resilience to drought and the impacts of climate change.

Rick Miller

Rick is the Associate Director Utilities & Industrial Gases, Americas.  His team is responsible for procuring utilities and industrial gases for assets in the Americas. The team is at the heart of the energy transition and climate change agenda for LyondellBasell, securing renewable electricity and developing strategic relationships with suppliers of low carbon hydrogen and CCS transport and storage services.  He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and has held leadership roles in manufacturing, supply chain, business management, and procurement...Read more
