Dr. Nathan Lord joined the Department of Computational and Systems Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine as an assistant professor in 2020. He completed his PhD in the laboratory of Dr. Johan Paulsson at the Harvard Department of Systems Biology, where he was an NSF graduate research fellow. There, he initiated a long-term collaboration with Dr. Richard Losick’s lab which led to the discovery of new principles for noise management in biological circuits.
