Charles Foster

Charles Foster is a bioprocessing scientist working at dsm-firmenich’s biotech research facility in Columbia, MD. He started his industrial career with legacy DSM in 2021 as a systems biology scientist in their Applied Microbial Physiology group after earning his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University. Today Charles leads metabolic modeling efforts in North America, translating deep knowledge of metabolism, enzyme kinetics, and optimization methods into tangible value across R&D stages with a focus on nutritional products.Read more
