On October 20, 2013, Tony Butterfield, University of Utah, presented teaching modules on carbon capture for over 45 high school students at the outreach session at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)’s 2013 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA. The modules, “Carbon Capture in Water” and “Carbon Captured Chalk,” were developed by RCN-CCUS PI Alissa Park, Columbia University, for high school teachers to help their students understand more about carbon capture.
