What you need to do after you've been accepted:

  1. Notify all co-authors of the acceptance.
  2. Register for the conference. All speakers and contributors are expected to register on a paid basis. You may apply for grant funding here, or email sallk@aiche.org regarding discounts for groups or session-only passes.
  3. Book your hotel and travel. You can view hotels in the area on the accommodations page here
  4. For presenting authors requiring a visa to the U.S., please contact invitationletters@aiche.org with author information (name, affiliation, email and any other information required in the letter). We are unable to directly contact embassies or various officials on their behalf.

What you will want to know about logistics:

  • Venue: All technical sessions will be held at the Town & Gown Ballroom, on the University of Southern California campus in Los Angeles, CA.. 

    Oral Presentations & Template:

    • Please see the slide/PowerPoint template for the Renewable Hydrogen Storage and Transport Conference here.
      • o    In the event that the template cannot be used, we request that all presentations include the conference logo on presentation slides.
    • The timing of each presentation will be included in an email sent to you before the conference. Your time slot can also be found in the online technical program, although this is subject to change.
    • The 20-minute time slot of each presentation includes Q&A time, so please take that into account when creating your presentation.
    • All presentations should be technical and not contain a sales pitch/advertisement of your company's services 
    • A/V: A projector, screen, and podium will be available in the session room for oral presenters.

    Poster Presentations:

    • There is no poster template, but some guidelines can be found in our Poster Session FAQs here
    • Poster Board Size: The provided display of poster boards is 30”x40” and can be oriented either portrait or landscape. Please make sure your poster is slightly smaller so that it fits in the space.
    • Printing & Bringing your Poster: Poster Presenters are responsible for bringing their posters to the conference. AIChE will not be able to print the posters. 
    • Displaying your Poster: AIChE supplies push-pins and binder clips to put up your poster, using the provided easels and foam boards.  You can pick up the materials when you enter the poster area.
