On July 20, 2019, KAIST hosted the first Korea Regional Chem-E-Car Competition in Daejeon, Korea. This is the 6th country outside of the US to host an official AIChE Regional Chem-E-Car Competition®.
Two teams competed in this competition, with KAIST winning the performance competition and Seoul National University winning the poster competition. KAIST was invited to participate in the competition at the 2019 AIChE Annual Student Conference in Orlando, Florida.
