Teni Butler has served as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) practitioner and has past experience supporting chemical manufacturing/production and in customer facing technical sales. She is a certified yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance and an active and passionate singer-songwriter.
As an AIChE member, she's an elected Director of the AIChE East Tennessee Local Section through 2023 and works to provide novel STEM outreach programs and partnerships to the Tri-Cities area including being that past chair of the Volunteer State Science Bowl Steering Team and collaborating with area partners to bring the first-annual AIChE ETLS STEM Field Day to life in 2022. She has also served on the global AIChE Local Sections Committee (2018 - 2022) and on the PEAK Young Professionals Council (2020-2022).
She currently serves on the board of The Taraloka Foundation - a small non-profit dedicated to creating opportunities for Himalayan girls by providing education, healthcare, and a safe refuge.
