This year, the LGBTQ+ & Allies Community will be hosting its second annual Virtual Pride Parade in celebration of Pride Month. Read below to find out more about this event and how to join the LGBTQ+ & Allies Online Community.
Virtual Pride Parade
Wednesday, June 26th, 2:00 – 3:00 PM ET

June 26th is an important day for LGBTQ+ equality. Celebrate this day of equality by joining us at the Virtual Pride Parade. Come wearing your best pride!
The event will feature a panel discussion on “Creating an LGBTQ+ Friendly Workplace.” The panel will be led by Emi Schackmann, AIChE LGBTQ+ & Allies and DORIC community member.
This event is open to all AIChE members, and all participants must pre-register.
Join AIChE’s LGBTQ+ & Allies Online Community
This community is open to professional AIChE members who are LGBTQ+ and allies. Topics of discussion will include the ongoing development of LGBTQ+ initiatives within AIChE, plus issues concerning, and opportunities for, LGBTQ+ chemical engineering professionals.
