Licensing and Professional Development Committee

The Licensing and Professional Development Committee (LPDC) works with other committees to provide programing in these areas. It also provides an interface with outside organizations on licensure topics. The committee reports to the Career and Education Operating Council.

The Licensing and Professional Development Committee (LPDC) has both short and long-term projects focused on serving AIChE membership in areas relating to professional development and professional engineering licensure. 

A Professional Engineer (PE)

A Professional Engineer (PE) is an engineer that has been licensed by one or more states. The license symbolizes that the engineer has met state's education, exam, and experience requirements to demonstrate competency in a field of engineering.
