The AIChE Management Division consists of an enthusiastic group of volunteers committed to the success and advancement of Chemical Engineers in leadership and management. It is the go-to resource for chemical engineers aiming to advance in leadership roles, offering opportunities for growth, networking, and professional development.
Our Mission
To empower chemical engineers and leaders at all career stages by promoting collaboration, mentorship, and innovation, equipping them with the skills and networks needed to excel in global teams, drive sustainability, and lead in technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial pursuits.
Our Goals & Objectives (from Bylaws)
- Provide a forum to discuss and present topics pertinent to chemical engineering management, leadership, and entrepreneurial activities.
- Develop and enhance management skills through chemical engineering-management related content, training courses, panels, and other experiences.
- Foster peer recognition and interaction between engineers and practicing, consulting, and academic chemical engineering management professionals.
- Instill an interest in the Institute and the Management Division among managers and those who aspire to become managers and leaders.
- Inspire and assist members in a career path toward management and leadership.
- Foster inclusion and diversity in the leadership, membership, and activities of the Division.
