The Tidewater Virginia local section of AIChE invites you to join them on Thursday, September 7 to see the Richmond Flying Squirrels, the AA affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, at the Diamond on Arthur Ashe Boulevard in Richmond. The Squirrels take on the Akron Rubber Ducks, the AA affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians (formerly the Indians). There will be fireworks from up close and inside the fences after the game.
Gates open at 5:00 PM and first pitch is scheduled for 6:05 PM. Currently, the Flying Squirrels are tied for first place in the race for the second-half Eastern League Southwest Division title and a spot in the post-season playoffs. The Flying Squirrels website is https://www.milb.com/richmond.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students (through college!).
