Our programs include technical presentations, plant tours, social events and outreach to student chapters in our area: Virginia Commonwealth University and Hampton University. The Tidewater AIChE section is a member of two "umbrella" orgainizations, the Richmond Joint Engineers Council (RJEC) and the Peninsula Engineers Council (PEC). These councils consist of various enginering societies, support STEM education and sponsor Engineers Week activities; an awards banquet and Career Day events for students.
