Shiver in the River, Leap Day 2/29/20

Here's a photo of the members of the Tidewater local section and VCU student chapter who bundled up to help clean the James River at the 2020 Shiver in the River event if Richmond, Virginia. Left to right are: Megan Milford, Logan Milford, Cory Jensen, Nastassja Lewinski, Kate Thorn, Kathryn Dill, Kimberly Cox, Enoch Comber, Michael Cox (back) and Shaan Vohra (front). Not pictured is Samuel Thorn, who finished 20th out of over 400 runners in the 5K race. Per the Keep Virginia Beautiful website (https://keepvirginiabeautiful.org/2020/03/02/shiver-in-the-river-is-growing-in-leaps-and-bounds/), 661 people signed up for the Community Cleanup, picking up 1,782 pounds of trash and 451 pounds recycling. 575 people registered for the 5K run, and 218 people braved the chilly weather to LEAP into the James River!
