The Twin Tiers Local Section was founded in 1980 to serve New York's "Southern Tier" and Pennsylvania's "Northern Tier" as the professional society for the area's chemical engineers. Our membership area includes Cornell University, Broome Community College, and Binghamton University, as well as major employers such as Corning, Inc., Lockheed Martin, DuPont, BAE Systems, and Global Tungsten & Powders.
