The first 40+ years at the Hanford site are discussed. Processes and equipment developed and used at the Hanford are discussed. The role that the Hanford site played was full scale demonstration of the nuclear fuel cycle from fuel fabrication and reactor operation through reprocessing and waste management. Existing and future uses of Hanford processes and technology are discussed.
