This session will celebrate chemical engineering's contributions to nuclear technology. Recipients of the NED's Robert E. Wilson award, as well as distinguished university professors and industry leaders, will be invited to recount the role chemical engineers played in the nuclear industry and offer their insight on where and how chemical engineers will be involved in development and application of future nuclear technologies such as fusion, advanced nuclear energy development including recycling and waste management, radiopharmaceuticals, etc. This year will mark the recently rejuvenated Nuclear Engineering Division's fifty-fourth anniversary as the first and oldest division in AIChE.
