Adsorption is a key water treatment process used to remove trace contaminants, such as heavy metals and organics, from water streams. The fabrication and regeneration of these sorbents can be costly and thus low cost alternatives are sought. This session will include the latest work on low-cost sorbents for water treatment and provide information on their fabrication, characterization, and performance.
