This year’s AIChE’s Public Affairs & Information Committee (PAIC) Town Hall meeting will tackle the three critical areas of Big Data for Science, Climate Change, and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Invited speakers will brief the audience on these three rapidly changing challenges that are impacting the chemical engineering profession in the U.S. and globally. The goal is to hear AIChE members’ point of view, and help them realize their crucial role in being a source of sound information and analysis, and helping policy makers and the public at large better understand chemical engineering perspectives and contributions. The audience will also be engaged via a moderated discussion and polling about PAIC focus areas for 2021 and beyond.
Chairs:
- Nada Anid, Chair, PAIC
- Gayle Gibson, Vice Chair, PAIC
