Instrumentation: An Engineer’s Best Friend and Biggest Enemy
Monday, April 27, 2009 - 8:30am to 8:45am
The principles for signal processing of sensors and transducers are revisited. The transformation of signals through mathematical operators requires different amplifiers at different signal frequencies. The analog designs of variable filters are presented. A variable filter design of a parallel plate photovoltaic amplifier is illustrated. The variable signals are processed using a source, sink (0, 1) matrix based approach for amplifier design. A mathematical guide is used to make future tools and measurement systems.
