Tutorial On Fouling and Design of Crude Pre-Heat Trains
Wednesday, March 16, 2011 - 10:00am to 10:30am
Fouling of pre-heat train exchangers can be mitigated in various ways.
These include changes to exchanger design: switching from tube-side to shell-side; installing tube inserts; replacement tube bundles.
They also include modifications to the structure of pre-heat trains.
Means by which suitable modifications can be identified are described.
