SSC-6MO (UNS N08367) superaustenitic stainless steel

SSC-6MO (UNS N08367) is a superaustenitic stainless steel containing in excess of 6% molybdenum. This alloy was developed for corrosion-resistant applications where conventional stainless steels fail because of chloride pitting and crevice and stress-corrosion cracking. It can be used as a cost-effective substitute for nickel alloys, including Alloys G, 20, 825, 625 and C276.

Songflame YA 010 and YA 020 halogen-free flame retardants

Songflame YA 010 and YA 020 are halogen-free flame retardants based on phosphine oxides that are designed to be reactive with a resin’s backbone (principally epoxies) to give long-term stability. Their key advantages include being environmentally safe, non-toxic and non-corrosive. Songflame TP100 is a halogen-free flame retardant based on phenol/bi-phenol polyphosphate, and is suited to a wide range of thermoplastic resins, particularly polycarbonate, polycarbonate blends with acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), and a wide range of polyesters.

waterMONITOR submersible datalogging level transducer

The waterMONITOR submersible datalogging level transducer takes measurements in an absolute reference pressure format. The sealed reference design simplifies maintenance, since no vent tube or associated desiccant filter is required to guard against moisture incursion. This transducer is capable of being modified into a baroMONITOR, which collects corresponding barometric pressure readings that can compensate for errors in absolute level measurements caused by changes in barometric pressure.

Cardinal pumps

Cardinal pumps meet extreme temperature requirements and are rated for continuous duty operating temperature ranges from –40ºF to 212ºF. The pumps are capable of permitting thermosiphon flow when the pump is not operating, thus allowing natural convection even when the pump is off. A rugged split-casing design with heavy-duty class 30 cast iron is used for the pump casting, motor enclosures, impellers and volutes. Large thrust-face-sleeve bearings also extend life, minimize wear and reduce maintenance.

T-Series membrane cassettes

T-Series membrane cassettes are constructed with high-performance materials that reduce extractables to deliver high-purity biological solutions. Reducing the amount of rinsing volumes required prior to cassette use, this feature saves time and material cots. The cassettes assure effective mass transfer of proteins, which is critical for biotech manufacturers given their significant cost. High-yield Omega membranes and a polypropylene screen increase processing flux rates and product recovery. The cassette has deep notches to assist fitting into holders.

Trans-Vue containers

Suitable for use in applications involving blood products, plasma, biologicals, specimens and vaccines, the Trans-Vue containers are available for 6_C, 8_C and 10_C transport. It features a nonreversible indicator that changes from white to red when the safe temperature of the temperature-sensitive materials has been reached or exceeded. Because a red indicator cannot change back to white, this feature allows laboratories to determine if temperature standards and regulations were maintained during transport.

Flextrac plastic chain belt conveyors

With load capacities up to 500-lb and speeds up to 375 ft/m, Flextrac plastic chain belt conveyors can be adapted to almost any application, including material handling and manufacturing. Standard-sized conveyors go up to 30 ft. in length, but customized models can be designed to 100 ft. All features are contained within a low 2.41-in. profile throughout, except at the drive end with 3.03-in. Widths of 4–24 in. are available, as are many side profile options for product containment.

Kason 3-in-1 System

Designed to regulate the flow of material into the screener, the Kason 3-in-1 System combines a Vibroscreen vibratory screener, a batch hopper and an integral feed control device. Consisting of a circular disc positioned below the flexible connector at the screener’s inlet, the feed control device is perpendicular to the flow of material. The disc’s diameter is smaller than the inside diameter of the inlet. This forms an annular gap through which materials pass. The flow of material remains uniform as the disc vibrates with the screener lid to which it is affixed.

HPR Series reactors

The HPR Series reactors have been designed for researchers who perform pressurized chemical reactions in the laboratory. High-pressure components are ASME-rated and protected by a rupture disc for safe operation. The reactors, which range in size from 50 mL to 8 L and may be operated up to 10,00 psi and 350_C, have a magnetically coupled impeller for optimal mixing. They are supplied as ready-to-use systems and require only utility connections prior to operation.

Chemical Resistance Bundle

This firm’s new Chemical Resistance Bundle includes KleenGuard G80 purple nitrile chemical-resistant gloves, KleenGuard G80 neoprene/latex chemical-resistant gloves and the KleenGuard A70 chemical spray protection coveralls. For a superior fit, both new KleenGuard G80 glove products offer an exclusive glove shape that is optimized for fit based on more than 40 dimensions. They also offer a 13-in. length to protect the forearms as well as the hands, textured fingers for grip, and a cotton flock lining for added comfort.
