Ahmet Demirtas
Ahmet Demirtas holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University (PA) and a Master’s degree from Manhattan College (NY). Before joining Merck as a Postdoc, he had been working in the computational solid mechanics' field. His previous works focused on modeling cortical bone fracture behavior using the extended finite element method. Currently, he is working on the powder compaction behavior of hollow particles by developing dynamic large-scale multi-particle finite element models.
