Alberto Ferrer
Alberto Ferrer is Professor of Statistics at the Department of Applied Statistics, Operation Research and Quality, and Head of the Multivariate Statistical Engineering Research Group (mseg.webs.upv.es/index.html) at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Spain). He holds a M.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering and a Ph.D. in Statistics from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. His research focuses on statistical techniques for quality and productivity improvement, especially those related to multivariate statistical projection methods. Prof. Ferrer has been Associate Editor of Technometrics (2008-2010) and since 2006 he is member of the Editorial Board of Quality Engineering. During the last 10 years he has published around 40 papers in international refereed journals and books, and has given around 20 invited talks in different international conferences. He is also active as industrial consultant on Process Chemometrics, Six Sigma and Process Analytical Technology (PAT).
