Andrea Haverkamp

Andrea Haverkamp is a PhD candidate in Environmental Engineering at Oregon State University, with a minor in Queer Studies. She will defend her dissertation in December 2020, titled "Invisible Gender Experiences: Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Students in Engineering and Computer Science." She holds a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering, a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, and has held industry positions with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Air Force, and the Environmental Protection Agency. She is seeking positions in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work, project management, and engineering education research.
