Angel Casal

Angel is a Chemical Engineer providing process safety, risk and reliability consultancy services to the O&G, refining, petrochemical and renewable sectors. He has over 25 years of experience and is a Senior Principal Consultant and VP Europe leading technical safety and risk management, asset integrity and ESG services for Vysus in the region. He has specialized in HAZOP and Functional Safety, is a Certified Functional Safety Engineer (CFSE) since 2010. Whilst at Lloyd´s Register, Angel held various technical roles such as Technical Lead for Risk Analysis Onshore and Global Design Appraisal Technical Authority for SIL and HIPPS. Angel is currently the sponsor of Vysus digital HAZOP tool “HAZOP Assistant.”
