Anh Vy Tran

Dr. Anh Vy Tran received her Bachelor’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry in 2014 from Ho Chi Minh City University of Science, Vietnam, and her Ph.D. degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Science, South Korea, in 2020. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Green Chemistry & Sustainable Materials R&D Department at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) in South Korea. Her areas of expertise include green chemistry and catalysis in biomass conversion to produce high value-added chemicals. Her recent work also entailed the development of an eco-friendly catalytic process for the production of important bulk chemicals such as furan-2,5-dicarboxylic acid, adipic acid, and others from biomass-derived furanic compounds.
