Tony is currently Director of Engineering for GTI’s Los Angeles office, with responsibility for the site’s Engineering infrastructure, and technical oversight of all of GTI’s Advanced Energy Systems projects. He joined GTI in 2015 when the company acquired the Energy portfolio of Aerojet Rocketdyne.

Tony joined Rocketdyne in 1982 and worked for 14 years in Fluid Dynamic Analysis of Turbomachinery, as an Engineering Analyst and as Manager of that group. From 1996 to 1999 Tony was Project Manager for two special process improvement projects implementing Enterprise Process and Data Management (EPDM) and a concurrent engineering infrastructure (RAPID). From 1999 to 2006 Tony was Director of Engineering Operations, responsible for Canoga Park’s Configuration and Data Management, Engineering Administration and Planning, and Library Services processes, and with continued project management responsibility for EPDM. From 2006 to 2015 Tony was a Program Chief Engineer in Advanced Programs, first with responsibility for Advanced Propulsion Development, and, from 2009 for Rocketdyne’s Energy portfolio.

Tony has a BA in Engineering Science from Oxford University, an SM in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Certificate in Program Management from West Coast University.
