Research fields in Heterogeneous Catalysis: Hydrogen Production (methane decomposition and steam reforming), Synthesis and Applications of Carbon Nanotubes, Development of New Catalytic Reactors, Catalyst deactivation and Regeneration, Environmental Catalysis, More than 90 indexed publications and more than 200 contributions to international congress. Director of 10 PhD theses. Research stays at the INCAPE-UNL (Santa Fe, Argentina) and at the School of Chemical, Materials and Biological Engineering, University of Oklahoma (Norman, OK, USA).
