Athanasios Kritikos

Thanos Kritikos is a Chemical Engineer with expertise in CFD and process simulations, particularly in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and biomass-derived chemicals. As a Postdoctoral Researcher at C-SOPS, he has worked on establishing a cutting-edge lab for the continuous manufacturing of injectable pharmaceuticals and creating a digital twin for process monitoring. During his Ph.D. at Rutgers University, he engaged in a diverse range of research projects, from designing and simulating manufacturing units to collaborating with esteemed institutes like SRI International and the University of Delaware. Athanasios has consistently employed advanced CFD techniques, validated models, and collaborated effectively with both industry and regulatory stakeholders.
