Azadeh Hemmati

Azadeh Hemmati currently is a PhD candidate in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department of Sharif University of Technology (SUT) under Prof. Jalal Shayegan supervision and she was awarded for research attachment program for two years at A*STAR Institute of Chemical Engineering and Science (ICES) under supervision of Prof. Paul Sharratt and Dr. Bu Jie. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the same university and her focus of work was on chemical reactions and reactor design and biological environment. During her studies at university she worked as a teacher assistant with different professors in few courses such as reactor design (for bachelor’s and master’s students), fluid mechanics and bioremediation. After master’s graduation she started her PhD studies in 2010 and her thesis topic is about ‘Carbon Capture and Storage by Mineralization’. Her current research area is mineralization process and optimization in experimental and theoretical aspects.
