Beatrice Toussaint

Beatrice Toussaint leads the ZEROe Aircraft Safety and Certification at Airbus, an international pioneer in the aerospace sector. Using hydrogen as a fuel is a revolution in commercial aviation, and safety aspects are paramount for such a disruptive step. Regulatory aspects are also key for Airbus ambition to develop the world’s first hydrogen-powered commercial aircraft by 203 Prior to her current role, Beatrice managed the Propulsion Safety and Certification team. She is passionate about safety in aeronautics, and has always looked for challenges in her professional life: starting as maths teacher, then becoming a software engineer, before joining the propulsion team, no wonder she thinks everything is possible provided we really aim for it.
