Did three summer internships at two major petrochemical companies in Southwestern-Iran during my college years. Upon college graduation in 2008, started working at a personal care products company in Tehran as a process engineer. Simultaneously attended a Master's program in polymer science and defended my thesis in December 2010. During 2011, was a full-time university instructor at Yasouj University. From 2012 to 2015, attended the PhD program in chemE at UMaine, where I did a thesis work on nano-crystalline cellulose. Did a postdoc in MatSE at Penn State and a second postdoc at MIT in chemE. Also worked from late 2017 to early 2019 at a nonwovens company in Boston, as a Scientist II. Since January 2019, have been working at Impossible Foods Inc as a Senior Polymers and Fibers Scientist. Love teaching and enjoy showing younger individuals how to use fundamental soft matter science and engineering tools in R&D.
