Born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, I left home at 14 to study abroad in Singapore. After, I attended Drexel University for my bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. After working in a pharmaceutical company for a year after graduation, I joined Penn State University as a Ph.D. candidate in Chemical Engineering, working under Dr. Mike Janik and Dr. Scott Milner.
