Brad Crawford
I have contributed to positive scientific developments throughout my career through effective organization, planning, teamwork, mathematical modeling, and statistical analysis. I have 9+ years of experience as an industry engineer before my Ph.D., with 5+ years of research and development (R&D) experience throughout my career. I hold a B.S. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering, obtained at The Pennsylvania State University and West Virginia University. Currently, I’m working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Wayne State University. During my Ph.D., I've primarily conducted research using molecular dynamics simulations, studying cellulose dissolution in ionic liquids. At my current Postdoc position, I’m developing scientific software, which quickly and easily generates the required starting files for the molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations. In general, this software enables the simulations to be seamlessly created and executed on a large scale and allows the chemicals or materials to be varied with minimum user interaction.
