Brent Stanley is an entrepreneur in the document-based data world and has spent the last several years developing specific applications of advanced technology to unlock value from large volumes of messy data. Stanley holds degrees in math, physics and mechanical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and has spent the last 14 years developing solutions for processing records including classification and data extraction. Recent positions include being president of a Texas-based company specializing in data mining for the asset integrity management and document control functions, which helps operators or pipelines, refineries, gas plants and refineries comply with Federal and State regulations. Previously, Stanley founded DCM Systems Inc. and Haystac LLC, both of which were software companies in the records classification and data extraction space, and also worked for Iron Mountain Inc., the world’s largest records storage and services company, where he helped start their digital archiving business.
