My name is Canan Sener. I am a scientist in DOE Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC). I I received my PhD degree from Middle East Technical University, Department of Chemical Engineering. I worked as postdoctoral researcher in Dumesic Group of University of Wisconsin - Madison, Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. My research was focused on biomass upgrading and catalyst design. Currently, I am developing catalysts for lignin depolymerization.
