Carlo Adamo
Carlo Adamo was born in Naples (Italy) in 1963, where he did all his studies at University Federico II, receiving a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry in 1995. Between 1993 and 2000 he was Assistant Professor at the University of Basilicata (Italy). In 2000, he moved to Chimie-ParisTech (France) as Associate Professor where he became Full Professor in Theoretical Chemistry in 2004. In 2011 he was admitted to the Institute Universitaire de France as senior professor. He was visiting researcher at CEA-Grenoble (France), Rice University (USA), University Joseph Fourier (France), University Federico II (Italy), University of Minnesota (USA). His main research interests concern development of new DFT approaches and their applications to various fields of chemistry.
