Chris Armitage

Mr. Armitage is a Principal Reliability Engineer at GenesisSolutions an ABS Group Company. Formerly as CEO of The Reliability Optimization Company, he had more than 43 years of experience in maintenance and maintenance-related functions. Mr. Armitage’s experience includes 31 years in personnel supervision, project management and maintenance engineering involving Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Streamlined RCM development and instruction, maintenance reliability systems development and troubleshooting commercial manufacturing, industrial and military environments. Mr. Armitage is the originator of Genesis Solutions’ Streamlined RCM process, a published author and frequent speaker at numerous professional conferences. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Commander, having served as a Helicopter Pilot, Flight Instructor and Aircraft Maintenance Officer.
