Corey Allen received a BS in Chemical & Bimolecular Engineering from North Carolina State University (NCSU) in 2007, where he was a Beckman Scholar and graduated as a University Valedictorian. At NCSU, Corey performed research on nanoparticles and microfluidics and developed a novel approach for particle separation in micro channels utilizing surface gradient effects. From 2007 to 2014, Corey worked at ExxonMobil (Baytown, TX), within the Global Basic Chemicals Technology department, where his most recent position was that of Steam Cracking Yields Specialist. He worked for BASF & Quantiam Technologies from 2014 to 2018, as a Technology & Innovation Manager for a novel steam cracking catalytic coating to prevent coke formation. Corey now works at Honeywell as a Senior Product Marketing Specialist, representing UniSim Design Suite and Predict Corrosion Suite.
