Devashish is a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering at MIT, with broad interests in developing soft materials for applications in sustainability. His current research in the Doyle group focuses on combining theory, simulations, and experiments to make low-cost sustainable hydrogels for the sequestration and destruction of emerging contaminants in water. Before coming to MIT, Devashish studied chemical engineering at IIT Madras in India, where his research focused on fluid mechanics and micro and nanomaterials.
