Erjola Buzi is a Research Engineer at Aramco Research Center—Houston. She is with Sensors Development team where she designs and builds electronic circuits and sensors that provide solutions for Saudi Aramco field challenges. Erjola has more than 13 years of experience in research, development and manufacturing of oilfield instruments. She has been working with Sensors Development team at Aramco Research Center – Houston for more than five years. Her main areas of interest include designing robust sensors and electronics for harsh downhole environments. Prior to joining Aramco she worked for Schlumberger for 8 years. During that time she designed and tested downhole sensors and systems for oil and gas applications on Drilling and Measurements (D&M), Wireline and Logging While Drilling (LWD) domains. Erjola holds a Master of Engineering from Rice University, Texas, USA 2012 and her Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Polytechnic University of Tirana, Albania 2006. She is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Project Management Institute (PMI). She is a certified Project Manager since 2017. She has authored several conference papers and peer reviewed journal articles.
