Esma Ines Achouri

Inès Esma Achouri is an assistant professor (tenure-track at Université de Sherbrooke in Canada. She is the holder of the Canadian Research Chair on Process Intensification for Advanced Catalysts and Sustainable Energy, since April 2021. She was previously postdoctoral fellow at École Polytechnique de Montréal (EPM), and research associate at Pfizer Montréal within the Manufacturing Process Analytics and Control group. Prof. Achouri has a wide spectrum background that combines academic and industrial positions in process engineering. She expanded her expertise and diversified her research practices by studying in 4 universities in 3 countries. Her intercultural education enriched her scientific training and provided her not only with a true experience in international context, but also with a solid national and international network. Her expertise in process intensification, along with her diversified experience is a major opening to transfer her research to industries seeking more efficient catalytic processes for sustainable energy production.
