Eva Harth is a full professor at the University of Houston in the department of Chemistry. With a PhD from the Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Chemistry in Germany and a postdoc at the IBM Research Center, she started her academic career at Vanderbilt University in 2004. In 2017 she moved to the University of Houston. Her lab has pioneered a process to produce polar polyolefin block copolymers in a one-pot procedure through photoirradiation and establishing methods to merge prior incompatible monomer classes in polymerization procedures.
