Professor Muñoz is an experienced Chemical Engineer with over 15 years of experience working as a researcher, professor, and advisor for Process Safety. He was recently appointed associate professor and is currently working on developing comprehensive risk assessment frameworks for hydrocarbon operations in Latin America. Most of his work is consulting work is focused on advising governmental organizations and private companies on adequate approaches to ensure the prevention of major accidents resulting from high risk operations and conditions.
