Ganesh is currently a Senior Research Scientist in the Drug Product Science and Technology group at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In this role he is responsible for formulation development of new products and scale-up and transfer of products to commercial manufacturing site. Ganesh has spent 13 years in oral solids formulation development at BMS. Over these years he has developed and commercialized multiple products from capsule formulation, powders for pediatric formulation, multi-layer fixed dose combination products to active coated FDC tablets. He is a member of the compaction and bi-layer focus groups and a super-user for various compaction simulators (ESH, Stlycam and Presster). He has been recently evaluating Pyro-buttons for monitoring and gaining understanding of coating thermodynamics inside the pan by measuring temperature and humidity of tablet bed during film coating process and other applications of this technology. Ganesh holds a MS in Chemical Engineering from WVU.
