Graciela Cares
Maria-Graciela Cares is an Associate Professor at the Université de Lorraine, affiliated with the Laboratory of Reactions and Chemical Engineering Processes (LRGP-CNRS) and the engineering school ENSIC in Nancy, France. Dr. Cares holds a degree in Physics Engineering from the University of Santiago de Chile and a Master's degree in Materials Science from the Université de Franche-Comté. In 2014, she earned her Ph.D. in Process Engineering and Environment from IMT Mines Albi. Her research expertise lies at the intersection of Physics and Engineering, with a focus on granular physics and powder technologies. Dr. Cares explores the complexities of this field, from fundamental principles to practical applications. Her multidisciplinary approach to powder rheology has led to collaborations with industries including cosmetics, materials, pharmaceuticals, food, and automotive sectors. She has also contributed to several European projects, showcasing her ability to bridge academic research with industrial innovation.
