Herbert Fountain

Herbert D. Fountain is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences program at Cornell University, where he conducts research in the lab of Dr. Shaoyi Jiang. His work focuses on developing innovative platforms for aging and age-related diseases. Fountain currently leads separate diagnostic and therapeutic projects aimed at investigating aging at the chemical level and enhancing the specificity of senolytics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomolecular Science and Biology from Clarkson University and was named a 2024 Foresight Fellow in the Longevity and Biotechnology track. He is excited to connect with other researchers, investors, or government officials interested in geroscience.
