J. Richard Elliott has his PhD from Penn State and his MS from Va Tech, both in Chemical Engineering. He has been Professor Emeritus in Chemical, Biomolecular, and Corrosion Engineering at The University of Akron since 2018. He is a coauthor of Introductory Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, the Thermodynamics Section in Perry's handbook, and the upcoming 6th edition of The Properties of Gases and Liquids. He has coauthored over 90 journal publications, specializing in molecular simulation, statistical mechanics, and applied thermodynamics.
