James M. Vergis

James M. Vergis is a Science Advisor on the Pharmaceutical team of the Government & Regulatory Affairs practice group at the law firm of Drinker Biddle and Reath, which serves as the Secretariat for Allotrope Foundation. He received a B.S. in biochemistry from the State University of New College at Geneseo and M.Phil. and Ph.D. in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University. He is a multidisciplinary Ph.D. scientist with experience in chemistry, molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics, with specialized skills in the following areas: protein expression and purification, enzymology, macromolecular x-ray crystallography, analytical characterization of small molecules and proteins, laboratory robotics and automation, membrane protein techniques, assay development, biodefense, and scientific computing.
